COEM was founded in 2004. It offers the best event management courses in India and mass communication course in Pune, India. Our mission is to set standards in the field of events, media & hospitality education. COEM now offers comprehensive courses in events, advertising & media, sports management, wedding planning and public relation.

Our tie ups with UGC recognized universities allow us to offer UGC recognized courses as well. Our tie ups include Global Open University as well as Sam Higginbottom IATS Deemed University (formerly AAIDU)

We are pleased to announce that admissions are now open for our seventeenth batch of students in the session starting July, 2014. We also announce our nineteenth batch of short term (certificate) courses.

We are indeed proud of our achievements over the last ten years. These achievements reflect the standards that COEM constantly strives to set: 

• We were the first college in India to create a full time training program in event management
• We were the first to launch short term courses in the field
• We were the first to launch the COEMBA; a revolutionary master level program in events & media.
• Our alumni now work with some of the largest corporate houses in the country. We have the best placement program in the industry.

Very few colleges can offer their students such a continuous array of real life experiences. COEM also offers the students integral facilities on campus such as:

• 6,000 + books and CDs library, with the largest collection of books on events & media in India.
• Computer laboratory & research facility
• Events & Media studio with DTH & cable TV, CD player, TV camera, Radio & DVD facilities

.... In other words, facilities that take the COEM student to the head of the pack.

I am proud that our students are making their mark wherever they go. At the Commonwealth Youth Games, it was a student of COEM who was honoured with the Best Volunteer title! 

In fact, we attract some of the best student talent in the field. The college promotes talent through a scholarship program that has rewarded more than 96 students so far. Scholarships are available on merit alone.

COEM has two strategically located campuses in the best localities of Pune – one in Deccan Gymkhana; and one in Koregaon Park.

We continue to innovate. We are the first college in India to introduce the unique teaching tool THOW: The Hands-On Way, which uses a combination of classroom, case studies, real life simulation and live management scenarios to get the message across.
